She/Her

I have worked as a registered nurse (RN) with children and adults in a variety of inpatient and outpatient mental health care contexts since 2008, and I love having the opportunity to constantly learn more about promoting the wellbeing of my community. I received my associate degree in nursing from Portland Community College, and completed my bachelor’s degree in nursing from Oregon Health and Science University, where I am now pursuing a doctorate in nursing practice.  My experience as an RN has taught me the importance of partnering collaboratively with clients, their clinicians and other relevant supports, to provide high-quality holistic care.

As a student psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-S), I work under the supervision of a board-certified PMHNP to complete psychiatric assessments, plan medication management, explore lifestyle or behavioral recommendations, and provide limited psychotherapy. I am passionate about providing evidence-based care to support each person’s unique strengths and resilience. I aim to understand the many interconnected factors impacting a person’s health, and to provide responsive and culturally sensitive support in recovery, healing, and growth.
