I have been working with adults in inpatient medical and psychiatric settings since 2018. Prior to entering the mental health field, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in comparative literature from Colorado College in 2016. I became a registered nurse (RN) in 2020, graduating with a bachelor's in nursing from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). As an RN, I have continued working in adult mental health while studying for my doctorate in nursing practice at OHSU, specializing in psychiatry.

As a student psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-S), I work under the supervision of a board-certified PMHNP to complete psychiatric assessments, plan medication management, explore lifestyle or behavioral recommendations, and provide limited psychotherapy.

I work to collaborate with my clients, building toward shared goals with support and understanding. A strong therapeutic relationship is integral to treatment, and I strive for a safe and open environment for clients. Cultural humility, understanding the impact of trauma, and evidence-based treatment all inform my practice style.
