I work with children, adolescents, and adults and provide psychiatric evaluation, consultation and ongoing mental healthcare. Individualized treatment plans may include behavioral or lifestyle recommendations, medication, and/or psychotherapy.
I have worked in healthcare and mental health since 2006 and have practiced as a nurse practitioner since 2014 in outpatient, community mental health, residential, inpatient, and partial hospital/intensive outpatient settings. I earned my bachelor's in nursing and my master's in psychiatric nursing across the lifespan with a focus in child and adolescent psychiatry from Oregon Health & Science University. My interest in psychopharmacology is balanced with a passion for therapy. The patient-provider relationship is an essential part of effective mental healthcare, and I strive to create an environment of comfort, safety, and openness. I hope to understand unique needs, goals, challenges, and formative life events with the aim of working together toward improved mental health, well-being, and functioning in the world. My therapeutic training is in Supportive and Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Collaborative Problem Solving.
