I view you as the expert of your own life, and my role is to support you in a way that ensures you feel truly heard, respected, and open to exploring your inner world. In a world that is increasingly polarized and isolated, where high levels of productivity often come at the expense of meaningful connection, I aim to offer you the connection you deserve. Together, we will work on creating and maintaining fulfilling relationships with yourself and others, learning to offer yourself compassion and kindness along the way.

I am a professional counselor associate dedicated to supporting adolescents, young adults, and families in deepening their self-understanding and enhancing their relationships. I recently earned my Master’s degree in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark College. With years of experience working with adolescents and young adults in diverse settings—including schools, inpatient facilities, and outpatient programs—my work has focused on guiding young people through the challenges of identity development, exploring questions like ‘Who am I?’ and ‘Who do I want to be?’. Additionally, I have extensive experience helping individuals navigate feelings of disconnection, self-harm, and suicidality.

I center my approach in working with young people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and life changes. I also work with families who are experiencing difficulty with communication and connection. Together we can work to strengthen the attachments in your relationships, build skills that support you through the daily ups and downs of life, and learn to offer yourself the compassion and kindness you deserve. I hold the therapeutic relationship in the highest regard, and I am honored by the opportunity to work alongside you on your journey of healing and growth.

My therapeutic practice is integrative, drawing on a range of approaches, including Emotionally Focused Therapy, Ecotherapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, parts work, and creative expression through art and somatic experiences. A key element of my approach is the integration of nature-based interventions, rooted in the belief that nature holds profound wisdom and the power to facilitate healing and personal growth. With a certificate in Ecotherapy from Lewis & Clark College, nature therapy is a core aspect of my practice. In today’s world, where technology addiction and screen time dominate our lives, finding balance through intentional integration of nature is more important than ever. By incorporating therapeutic metaphors, mindfulness, and a felt sense of our surroundings, nature offers alternative perspectives and fosters creative ways of connecting with the world around us. This approach is creative, curious, considerate, and compassionate, helping you feel connected in an increasingly polarized and isolated world. Together, we can explore the natural world, whether outside in a park (weather permitting) or within the confines of my office, where we can work on the inherent bond created in natural spaces and translate it into your relationships with yourself and others. It should be noted that I prefer working with individuals and families in person either at my office or pre-selected parks in the Portland Metro area.
