I have worked in the healthcare field since 2005 as a medical assistant and graduated from Concordia University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. For the last nine years I have been working as a registered nurse with children and adolescents at a residential psychiatric facility. Currently I am also working as an on-call community health nurse at the Multnomah County Health Department. I am now moving into a career as a PMHNP, with two semesters left at Gonzaga University. As a future PMHNP, I hope to provide the best individualized patient-centered care to enhance the quality of life for those seeking mental health treatment.
